Terms and Conditions for Voluntary Donations

Welcome to Orphans and Widows Empowerment Network Foundation (ORWIENET-F). By making a voluntary donation through this platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of Donations

All voluntary donations received by ORWIENET-F are used solely to support programs and initiatives that benefit orphans and widows. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Food assistance
  • Shelter support
  • Educational sponsorship
  • Healthcare assistance
  • Skills acquisition and vocational training
  • Widow empowerment initiatives

Donations are charitable contributions and do not entitle donors to any goods, services or financial returns.

2. Voluntary and Non-Refundable Donations

Every donation is made freely and voluntarily. Once a donation has been successfully processed, it is considered non-refundable except where applicable laws require otherwise.

3. Use and Allocation of Funds

Donated funds may be applied towards:

  • Food, clothing and shelter support.
  • School fees, educational materials and learning support.
  • Medical care and counselling services.
  • Skills acquisition and empowerment programs for widows.
  • Reasonable administrative expenses required to operate ORWIENET-F effectively.

Where a designated project becomes fully funded, any remaining funds may be redirected to similar charitable programs that align with the mission of ORWIENET-F.

4. Transparency and Accountability

ORWIENET-F is committed to responsible stewardship of every donation. Donors may request periodic reports regarding the utilization of donated funds. Annual summaries may also be made available through our official communication channels.

5. Donor Information and Privacy

By making a donation, you consent to ORWIENET-F collecting and storing your name, contact details and donation records for purposes including:

  • Issuing donation acknowledgements and receipts.
  • Communicating important updates.
  • Maintaining financial accountability.

Your personal information will never be sold or knowingly shared with third parties except where required by law. Donors who wish to remain anonymous may notify ORWIENET-F accordingly.

6. Public Acknowledgement

Unless anonymity is specifically requested, donors may be acknowledged in official reports, newsletters or appreciation publications issued by ORWIENET-F.

7. Approved Payment Channels

Donations may be made through approved payment methods including:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Cash Donations
  • Approved Online Payment Platforms

Transactions processed by third-party payment providers remain subject to their respective terms and conditions. ORWIENET-F shall not be liable for errors originating from banks or payment processors.

8. Legal Status

Orphans and Widows Empowerment Network Foundation (ORWIENET-F) is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria.

Registration Number: CAC 36952

All donations are administered in accordance with the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria governing charitable organizations.

9. Amendments

ORWIENET-F reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary. The most current version shall always apply and will be made available upon request or through our official communication channels.
